Hello in Camp!!

   Picture at right:  "Chemo Kids" & their Families enjoy the weekend during the Candle Lighter's Rendezvous held June 6th & 7th at Camp Falcon on the Ft. Carson military base in Colorado. Because of immunity problems usually associated with Chemotherapy, this is a rare opportunity for these kids to get outdoors & enjoy life. Event Moved: The "2009 Festival of Mountain & Plain" has been moved to a new location. Click on "Rondy Events 2" or "Legends" Pages on the Navigation Bar. Update: H.O.H. Colorado did hold a "Preview" Gunfight on May 23rd.   Additional Gunfights are skedded at Heritage Square on July 4th & 5th in addition to the "Festival" skedded in August.

Hartsel, Colorado needs some help.   Hartsel is a little town in Park County, Colorado where 'Skinners & Flatlanders go to get gas & supplies. The town has been good to 'Skinners & Rendezvous'ers & could use a 'hand-up." Please go to the "Voo-Porter" Page to read more. Thank you.

"What's the Forecast for . . ." A good question for good planners. I'm now including links to TV stations (reasonably) close to the first 2 or 3 Event sites on the Rondy Events Pages.
Whenever possible, I'll try to find stations that provide a 7-day Weather Forecast & local Fire info. These links will change as Events come & go on the calendar.
