Candle Lighter's Rendezvous - 2010

FROM U.S. 25 TAKE THE NEVADA EXIT, AND GO SOUTH. (Nevada Avenue turns into Route 115.) CONTINUE TO THE MAY’S BUG MUSEUM (A BIG BEATLE ON THE RIGHT) AND TURN LEFT INTO FORT CARSON GATE 6. The camp is just inside the gate on the right.
Early set up June 5 & 6.
Everything is provided by the CandleLighters or donated from other sources. All proceeds from the auction and donations go directly to the CandleLighters for the families’ use. Any and all items donated for the auction are greatly appreciated. Please bring something for the community meal Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. Since this event is all about the children we request no visible alcohol use.
An open invitation is made to any & all volunteers who wish to help make this Event possible. Volunteers who participate MUST BE IN GOOD HEALTH because of the sensitivity & safety of those kids who are undergoing Chemotherapy.

This event supports the CANDLELIGHTERS OF SOUTHERN COLORADO organization, a support group for families of children with cancer or blood disorders.
EVERYONE MUST BE AWARE OF THE HEALTH CONCERNS FOR THE CHILDREN THAT WILL ATTEND THIS EVENT ON Saturday!!! Some of them are in treatment and their immune system severely weakened, and any infection could be very detrimental to them. So please, if you or anyone in your party has a cold, or any other communicable disease, PLEASE have concern for the kids and do not attend… We will understand.
