Welcome ! !

Hello in Camp!!

High Fire Danger in Park County, Colorado  During the last 4 days, significant rains poured into Colorado's High Country.  Despite the recent rains, it is highly encouraged to consider the Fire Danger "High."  For more info, check on http://cbs4denver.com/ or http://www.thedenverchannel.com/ for current info.  The Fire Danger level may also affects Events in Colorado including the "COMO MTN-MAN RENDEZVOUS."   <See Webmaster's note on "Rondy Events" Page.>

Now Available! ! !   BAYOU SALADO 2008 PICTURE DISK!!!  Now available in DVD & computer formats.  More details appear on the "Rondy Events" Page.

NEW  PAGE ! !  Some 'Skinners have expressed an interest in sharing their knowledge.  The TIMES PAST Page is where one can do just that.  The subject can be whatever you wish to share.  There are a couple "ground rules," just take a look at the top of the Page.  Depending on how many articles are submitted (over time) I see no reason why articles could not have at least a week's worth of exposure.

UPDATE:  The Rocky Mountain College Rendezvous 2008 Page is now updated with the latest & greatest info.  Click on "RMCR 2008" on the Navigation Bar.

NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS!  I’ll be building some new pages that will feature the clothing craftings & services of Dollmaker & Irish Lace.  This new Web Venture will start off with circa 1800’s doll clothing & accessories along with custom Kids (boys & girls) and Adult (men & women) clothing.  Click on "Lace-1" on the Navigation Bar to see what "Irish Lace" & "Dollmaker" are doing.  More details & pictures now appear on "Lace-2," "Lace-3," & "Lace-4."

The War Eagles Society, are Buckskinners who served or are presently serving in our Nation’s Armed Forces.  Please check out http://www.war-eagles.com/ for more info. (I was informed by Skip Stansbury - Colorado District Rep for the War Eagle Society, that as of 25 July 2007, Veterans not in uniform may now use the hand salute to honor nation's Flag More info appears on the "Aim Small" page.)

For now, take a look at the Rendezvous Events, Etc. page.  Since E-Mails do "have a habit of being deleted," (oops!) having the E-Mailed version posted here as well, will enable people to see & read the latest, stored in a semi-permanent location.  I'll be up-dating what's here at the same time I make the mass-posting so's we're all "on the same page."  Also, if there are any changes of Events (like RMNR 2007 in MT fer example), I’ll post the changes here on the Site first (a lot quicker to get-word out to all), then carry the up-dates over to the next mass E-Mail posting.

Rocky Mountain College Rendezvous 2007
is alive and well!!  Their Page was up-dated on 6 September 07—check out “RMCR 2007” for the latest info.

Finally, I must ask a major favor (or 2):  1st, Some of y'all have been so kind to send me flyers so's I have ALL the pertinent info.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!  Please also include a link to the Flyer (if one is available).  That way, viewers of this site wanting more info can get it much quicker.  2nd, please, for those who maintain Web Sites, I'd much appreciate a link to this Web Site from your Site.  I'll do the same in return, make sure please to send me a valid link to your site.

PICTURES:  I'd much appreciate to receive some pictures of Rendezvous Events.  Please make sure that you include with your photo(s): YOUR Name (for photo credit), Name of who is in the photo & where it was taken & the date.  A caption for the picture would be helpful too!

   If y'all have
photos to share or comments (good, bad or down-right ugly!) send an E-Mail to me at: RMRondyNews@juno.com
